Was tired of lifting the hood to plug in my truck. I cut the loom open and pulled about 5 inches more out. Routed it out the grill and now it's very easy to use. The loom I cut open was the heater cord and the battery cables.

Like smokndmax said, follow the battery cables down on the passenger side battery. It definatly has a block heater, i believe all duramax's come with a block heater. Edit: you'll find that the cord doesnt have enough length as is to run it anywhere permanent.
