WebJan 5, 2004 · Looking through the source I kinda figured it out. Looks like CLIENT_install() expects fbclient to be in a folder called "bin". Moving both instclient.exe and fbclient.dll to a subdirectory called "bin", in the temporary location, seems to do the trick. I'd expect instclient to be more "standalone", and be able to run anywhere it is.
